Where are you from?
Originally from NYC; now reside in Raleigh/Durham, NC.
What are you passionate about? Whats the driving force behind it?
I’m passionate about helping people love themselves. I used to hate what I saw in the mirror and want to assist in changing mindsets from self-hate to self-celebrate.
Whats your skill set?
I think I am a good communicator, listener, and a team player.
What set you apart from others of your same field?
I’m not afraid to be transparent, sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Whats your purpose in life?
To encourage and motivate. I’ll be your biggest cheerleader.
If you could choose any career in the world, would you still choose the career or talent you have?
Honestly, I don’t know…LOL. Everything I’ve done was never in my plan. The sky’s the limit, so I’m open to the possibilities.
What would you tell your younger self?
Love yourself and give yourself grace. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Knowing what you know now, would you change anything in your past?
No, because everything in life is a learning experience. I have no regrets!
Who are your role-models?
My mom, my sister Sherri, Oprah Winfrey, and Rihanna.
What would you say to those that are starting out in your field?
Be patient, ask questions, but most importantly, invest in yourself. Sometimes you must “pay to play”.
What is your favorite quote? Explain?
“Everything happens for a reason.”-It’s simple, but if it wasn’t for
certain occurrences in my life, other things wouldn’t have happened. I may not understand why at that point, but the answer is revealed in the long run.
If you could leave lasting impression, what would that look like?
My lasting impression would be for others to know I want them to succeed and be their best selves. They are worthy, and they are enough.
