Meet Chenelle Jackson

Chenelle Jackson has 15 years of media experience leading production and strategy for companies such as TEN: The Enthusiasts Network, Motor Trend, Petersen Museum, ATTN: and WITHIN. Client-partners have included NIKE, Apple, New York & Company, Paramount, Noggin, Microsoft, 1800 Tequila, Jaguar, NARS and THUMA.

She has created multi-million dollar bids in branded entertainment, was an Executive Producer and lead production teams and executes storytelling with animation, post-production (which includes print and videos), licensing and clearance. Chenelle has produced digital media content that gathered more than
100 million views on social media, television broadcast commercials and tv shows along with successful corporate events.

With Chenelle’s experience she solely founded ELEV8 Media which is a full-service production media and event company owned and operated by a black woman. ELEV8 collaborative approach ensures that the delivery of any content that we create, plan and coordinate an event for you that exceeds your expectations and drives performance on all platforms, elevating your brand to new levels.

The challenges that Chenelle faces today is the Writer Guild’s strike. It has not only affected and slowed down production tremendously for ELEV8 Media but for other freelancers and other production companies as well. ELEV8 thrives in challenges, attacking the impossible and delivering incredible work. We just need the opportunity in this industry as a new production company.

Chenelle’s greatest accomplishments are bringing people of color and diversity to the world of film. When she started, she was often the only black, yet alone woman on set for years. She vowed to teach all people who were interested in the film industry and give them an opportunity on her production sets or even hiring them as staff. She didn’t make it a dog fight between her teams but a way for people to work with each other’s strengths and weaknesses to form a perfect team.

Chenelle started ELEV8 Media November 2022 and has had 4-5 clients. She wants to build a company that will always give a person starting out an opportunity to try something new. She’s not looking for the most skilled individual but a passionate one. Skills can always be taught but you can never teach passion. By the end of 2024 she would like to staff 15 people and groom them for the next level of their life. The truth is no one stays at a job for 50 years anymore. She always prepares her team for the next steps and tell them she knows one day they will leave me. But she also lets them know she wants to work with them again one day and celebrate them in their new
endeavors and accomplishments.
