Beauty, Brains, and Business – Angela Holder

Simply being me and knowing that’s good enough makes me the ISH!

Tell us about yourself.

I am a country girl from Wichita Falls, Texas who has BIG dreams to change nations by allowing people to feel confident in their own skin. Whether that is from our confidence-building classes or skincare! Also, I am a super down-to-earth business owner of Fabulously Fancy, LLC Day Spa and Founder of the Nonprofit Fancy Factory School of Beauty & Confidence. Just A soul that looks to serve and empower!

You are a woman of many talents. Where do you see your brand/business/passion in the next 5 years?

In the next 5 years, my brand will no longer just be local, I will be worldwide, having my beauty products coming out this spring we will be able to reach people all over the world. Also, with our nonprofit Fancy Factory School of Beauty and Confidence. I’m also optimistic that within 5 years we will have a brick-and-mortar to host our confidence-building classes for young ladies and women!

How do you really feel about entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It is HARD WORK. My brain never seems to stop thinking about what’s next and how I can do this better. However, unlike any 9 to 5, where you get real days off as a business owner you work 24/7 on your product, your brand, marketing, etc. You will experience every emotion possible but, I must say it is freeing and always worth it.

What has been your biggest accomplishment and why?

My biggest accomplishment is making my family proud and following my dreams! I definitely never thought I would be an entrepreneur, but it has been one of the greatest things so far.

How did you get into modeling and then pageantry?

Actual pageantry came first for me. My mom started me at the young age of 7 months. Her exact words “looks like my little cuteness won the hearts of the judges.” Modeling came after college. I found my walk while being a part of LUMP (Langston University Marching Pride Band). As a dancer and flag girl. Our “walk” had to be on point! The message I retained from this early training was – “The better your walk the louder the crowd is!” So, I took that mentality into my model career, and it has been rewarding in more ways than the actual runway.

If someone asked you, who are you, what do you stand for, what would you say?

I’m a woman who has learned that losses are life’s lessons and not something to be feared. Someone who turns problems into empowerment. I stand for the people that God puts in my path whether they are past, current, or present. I’m a servant.

Where is your favorite place to go in DFW?

My ultimate favorite place to go is Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall. It is a place where I go to think, enjoy myself, talk to God and get great food! My place of serenity and peace!

How can people get in contact with you? What’s up next for you?

You can find me and our teams at www.fabulouslyfancy.com and FB/IG FabFancySpa and IG: FancyFactorySchool. There are so many great things to come for me but I can’t spoil the surprises. You all will just have to stay tuned!
