Meet Consuelo Mack

Mrs. Consuelo Mack and her husband Paul

Meet Consuelo Mack, a Civilian Management Coordinator with over 22 years of experience in the federal government. In her current role, she is responsible for helping to recruit, in-process and orientate new college interns for the US Air Force.  She is also a Pastor’s wife of 10 years.

When I met Consuelo (Coni) we were going through volunteer peer counselor training at the Eve Center. I was going through a trying time in my life adapting to life after separating from my husband and the many changes ahead of me. Coni was a constant friend with so much wisdom and love in her heart. She lent me her strength and her prayers to carry me through. It is an honor to highlight this phenomenal woman. She has an amazing story to share and let me tell you, this First Lady knows how to slay!

As a woman of wisdom, Coni does not hesitate to share her story of the challenges she faced starting all the way over after a very painful, public divorce.  She had been married for almost 20 years and never thought her life would switch up at 40 but that was the turning point. While this was a challenge, it is also a point of great accomplishment because she is an overcomer. She celebrates her children, ages 22 and 24 because they have great/relatable personalities, they have started productive careers, are extremely talented and they love the Lord.

Life does not come without its challenges for sure as Coni not only a career woman and mother, but also a wife. She is not just any wife. She is the wife of a pastor that has a church with not one but two congregations. She has the job of making sure she balances her roles because a job, bonus kids, 2 churches and a new husband has its own share of challenges!  In order to do this successfully, she must be intentional on motivated and be careful not to sweat the small stuff!

As for the future, Coni is currently working on another Masters degree, this time in Social Work.  She wants to specialize in Counseling and Mental Health, particularly for those who have suffered spiritual abuse. Her intention is to start a counseling firm and to really expand her work with domestic violence victims and make a difference world wide by writing a book about narcissism.

The words of wisdom Coni wishes to leave anyone reading this article: My personal motto: You are a WORLD changer!  You have the ability to change the world one person, one conversation, one action at a time!  So DO that.
