Her outstanding contributions to women’s empowerment earned her the prestigious 2023 Delaware Women’s Commission She’s on Her Way award, recognizing her as a trailblazer in the field.

In her role as the Senior Property Manager at YS Management, LaShyra demonstrates exceptional leadership abilities and a remarkable aptitude for handling responsibilities with utmost professionalism. Her outstanding performance earned her the esteemed recognition of being named the 2020 Property Manager of the Year at the Best of Awards presented by the Delaware Apartment Association. Since January 2023, LaShyra has held the esteemed position of Executive Secretary within the Delaware Apartment Association.

Beyond her flourishing professional journey, LaShyra dedicates herself to the enrichment of women’s voices and narratives. She passionately serves as the Editor-in-Chief of SITIGirl Magazine in Philadelphia, curating a platform that amplifies women’s stories and serves as an inspiration to all.

Passionate about supporting teen moms and young women, LaShyra founded the Fix Her Crown Foundation, an initiative to provide a safe space for girls to seek guidance, relate to others, and overcome challenges. Drawing from her own experiences as a teen mother, LaShyra is determined to break down barriers and ensure no young woman feels alone or afraid.
