For Tracy Orbin, service is more than a career—it's a calling shaped by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive. Whether working in nonprofit leadership, education, real estate, or community advocacy, Tracy has dedicated her life to connecting people with the resources, support, and opportunities that create lasting change.

Based in West Lafayette, Indiana, Tracy serves individuals and families throughout Tippecanoe County by helping them navigate grants, educational programs, housing opportunities, and community services that promote stability and improve quality of life. Throughout her professional journey, every position she has embraced has been an intentional step toward expanding her ability to lead, advocate, and make a meaningful impact within her community.
Her passion for service is deeply rooted in personal experience. As a survivor of domestic violence, Tracy understands the fear, uncertainty, and isolation that many individuals face during life's most difficult moments. Those experiences became the foundation for her life's mission—to ensure others know they are not alone and that hope, healing, and support are always within reach. Through education, advocacy, and community partnerships, she continues to help others discover pathways toward brighter futures.
In 2023, Tracy founded The GNOME Project, Inc., where she serves as Chief Executive Officer. The West Lafayette-based nonprofit is committed to expanding educational opportunities through mobile libraries while also providing child-care tuition assistance for local youth programs. Under Tracy's leadership, the organization is investing in young learners and supporting families with practical resources that strengthen the entire community.
Her commitment to service extends beyond her nonprofit work. Tracy remains actively involved in organizations focused on the social and economic advancement of youth and families across Indiana, continually seeking opportunities to advocate for equity, education, and empowerment. She also proudly serves as Ms. Elegance International 2026, using her title to raise awareness for causes close to her heart, including Mission K9 Warrior, an organization that provides highly trained service dogs to United States military veterans to support mental health, mobility, and overall well-being.
Professionally, Tracy combines her expertise in Special Education, Educational Technology, and real estate through Weichert Realtors® Len Wilson & Associates, creating meaningful connections that help individuals and families build stronger futures. Her ability to bridge multiple fields reflects a lifelong commitment to meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with confidence.
At the center of everything Tracy does is her family. Alongside her husband, Scott, their three children, and two beloved dogs, she finds the encouragement and inspiration to continue serving others with empathy, integrity, and purpose.
Through every life she touches and every opportunity she creates, Tracy Orbin reminds us that true leadership is measured not by titles alone, but by the hope we inspire, the barriers we help remove, and the communities we strengthen together.
