For Ariana Johnson, the runway has never been just about fashion—it's been a platform for purpose. As a professional plus-size model, licensed social worker, mental health therapist, and advocate, she has dedicated her life to empowering others through visibility, compassion, and meaningful service.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Ariana has graced the runway for numerous fashion productions, including the Touched By Grace Cancer Awareness Fashion Show, Pretty in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion Show, Art & Dance Fashion Show, and the Styles By Imagination Summer Fashion Show. Her work has also showcased the designs of respected creators including Dr. Diane Liston, Jonathan Anderson, Maria-Lynn Ogletree, Connie Pickard, and Koko Mystique. Her growing influence has been recognized in publications such as Queen Size Magazine, YES Fashion Magazine, Fashion Illustrated Magazine, Arts & Beauty Magazine, Voyage Ohio, Bold Journey Magazine, and The Curvy Fashionista.
While fashion has provided Ariana with a powerful voice, her greatest impact extends far beyond the spotlight. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. As a Licensed Social Worker and Mental Health/Behavioral Health Therapist with Pasadena Outpatient Villa Therapy, she works daily to support individuals and families through life's challenges. Her extensive certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Diversity Leadership, Change Management, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Psychological First Aid, and suicide prevention reflect her unwavering commitment to serving her community with excellence.
Ariana's dedication to service is equally evident through her involvement with Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Whether volunteering, mentoring, or advocating for equity, she believes meaningful change begins with compassion and action.
Her pageant journey has further amplified her mission, earning titles including Ms. Black Ohio USA 2024–2025, Ms. Ohio America Beauties Plus 2025–2026, and Ms. Captivating Great Lakes 2026–2027. Through each title, Ariana champions two causes deeply personal to her heart: Black maternal health and mental health awareness among women. As an advocate for health equity, social justice, and the empowerment of women and girls, she continues to use every stage as an opportunity to educate, inspire, and create lasting change.
Whether she's walking a runway, counseling a client, or speaking on behalf of underserved communities, Ariana Johnson leads with authenticity, purpose, and grace. Her story is a reminder that true beauty is measured not only by how we shine ourselves, but by how we help others find their light.
