Small But Mighty!

“Sometimes The Smallest Voice Makes the Biggest Impact”

When you first meet 8 year old Anurika Enyiaku, you are greeted with the sweetest smile, beautiful brown eyes, and a soft voice.  At first glance, you would have no idea that this up and coming SitiGirl is impacting the world around her in leaps and bounds.

A pageant queen from Bloomington, Indiana, Anurika is wise beyond her years.  At an age when many are focused on playing and toys, Anurika is observing the world around her and asking herself and her mom, how she can be an impact.  One of her best-known initiatives is the “spread love around B-Town” project.

After seeing how sad and lonely grandmas and grandpas get in nursing homes and managed care, Anurika began sending letters and cards to bring smiles to their faces, but she didn’t stop there, she started to spread the word about the work she was doing and when others asked how they could get involved, she and her mom Jessi opened up a PO Box to become the liaisons to deliver these cards and small gifts to those in need.  Valentine’s Day weekend, Anurika partnered with Morgenstern books and Amie Crites of “Speak2 Your Soul” to host a card-making extravaganza event, inviting the community, and her sash sisters, to come out and lend their talents to make cards for her initiative.   Through her in-person event and PO box submissions, Anurika was able to deliver over 500 cards!  When she’s not working on cards, or excelling in school, she is setting an example to her younger siblings, celebrating first responders or supporting her Pageant sash sisters at their events, and filming YouTube videos.  Most recently, Anurika was the youngest guest featured on “Crown Chat with Nichelle”, a web-based talk show highlighting pageant queens across the country.  Preparing to compete at an International pageant is next for Anurika as she continues to be an impact in the world.  We see you SITIGirl!
