“I have a heart for people. I love people! I love to give and impact the lives of others. Plain and simple” By being authentic and relating to others, Cris Meadows has been able to provide much needed services where there was a lack, not only in the State of Indiana but internationally!
Sometimes you must encourage yourself! – “My Inspiration was my own story!” Cris grew up in a family that served the community, but when it came to facing her own life experiences, she was encouraged to be of service to others by not allowing anyone to go through life without the information and inspiration to help them to overcome any obstacle.
One of the biggest challenges that she has faced and that many women face is getting out of our own way. Sometimes we make things bigger than they really are when all we need to do is breath and take it one step at a time. Another challenge she has faced, and I’m sure one that many of our readers can relate to is being afraid of success. We love seeing it for others but sometimes it’s hard to take it all in for ourselves. Cris believes in “being humble but not humbling herself out of being successful.”
She has been in the empowerment and nonprofit business for about 28 years by using her personal story, her comeback from a setback to serve others by impacting their lives to flourish by never giving up on you! Providing services such as live coaching and life strategy applications to impact and empower your goals, purpose, and vision. She also actively facilitates leadership workshops and an active keynote speaker.
Harvest Girls International, Inc. was founded by Cris over a decade ago and has been going strong serving women and girls in the community with building character, achieving excellence and service. Harvest Girls International, Inc. provides empowerment programming for Women and a Self-Esteem Academy for Girls including opportunities for College Scholarships.
Focusing now on producing greatness in others, Cris’ future plans include opening an academy for girls that provides a variety of services and programming for all levels of life.
When things seem tough, Cris’ motto is “No matter what it looks like or what you may be going through, Celebrate the Journey! Because everything in life can be used, nothing is wasted. Remember, “There is a celebration in you”!
