The brain is a tricky machine, what we think about, we bring about. How many times have you been in your BossBabe Goal-getter zone and negative chatter pops up out of nowhere causing you to doubt yourself? It’s normal and happens to EVERYONE. A powerful tool to override those thoughts are affirmations. By definition, an affirmation is the assertion that something is affirmed, exists or is true. Through daily affirmations we are asserting to ourselves positivity to override that negative hidden chatter that will pop up at the most inconvenient times. By taking a few moments each day to repeat these and any other affirming thoughts that you have, you are taking the steps to not only combat the negative chatter, but also propel yourself forward with positivity and excitement.
Starting today, look yourself in the eyes (either in your mirror or your phone camera) and tell yourself 5-6 affirmations DAILY. This is not a one and done activity, but it gets easier and you get better at it as you go. Use our affirmations below, or create your own!
