Welcome SITIGirl the month of love and all things chocolatey goodness! I feel like I just blinked and January was GONE! I’m looking forward to warmer weather, more daylight but I’m enjoying the last few months of boots and sweaters!
February is known for being the shortest month on the calendar, Black History Month, National Heart Month, American Hearth Month and my birthday month (gotta have a shameless plug for the birthday in there, right?). There are so many things that we can do this month to take care of our heart, soul and mind from personal development, self-care, and investing in our personal toolkits of resources to deal with any situation. This month’s issues features all of that from our Events page to tips on self care and highlights of SITIGirl bosses that are thinking past just themselves but how they can make an impact on the world. I hope that you’ll enjoy this issue, tell a friend or two about us and reach out if you know an incredible woman that should be featured, a hot event going on in Indy or nearby, and/or to just give a birthday shout out on the 26th.
