This month’s Cover Girl, Nicole Samuel believes every woman should describe herself with these three words.
While currently employed as the Coordinator of Patient Administration for Zoll LifeVest division. LifeVest is a wearable external cardiac defibrillator for patients who are in heart failure but cannot receive an internal cardiac defibrillator yet. Nicole is also the State Director for the Miss Pure Sparkle Michigan Pageant and President of the State Directors. Nicole also currently holds the title of Regent Ambassador for the Regents Guild, and is also President of the Executive Board.
What is the Regents Guild? A social organization for pageant queens and veteran pageant volunteers dedicated to supporting pageants and large upscale events. It gives pageant queens the opportunity to give back to the systems they have once competed in and move up the ranks of the organization based on volunteer hours. I love it because it has given the opportunity to meet so many amazing formal pageant queens from other systems and we’ve grown a sisterhood within our organization. “I’m excited we have our Regents Banquet and Awards Ceremony coming up in August in Atlanta. The Miss Pure Sparkle Pageant is a pageant for girls ages 0-18. Being the State director for Michigan has been such a joy to interact with these young girls and see the smiles on their face while competing and the confidence it instills in them. This year the Miss Pure Sparkle National Pageant will be held in Columbia, SC July 6th-8th. There will be girls from all over the nation competing for the national titles! Recently Nicole shared her Pageant expertise and talent as a judge for the MissCircleCityIndy and MissNationalAmerican pageants in Indianapolis, IN.
Nicole is also a proud member of New Life Family Church in Detroit, MI, where her pastor is Pastor Welton Smith IV. “I absolutely love my church and my church family. My faith is so important to me and is the essence of my identity. I serve on our Ministerial Alliance as an Elder and also serve with our First Impressions, who are our greeters and ushers.”

Future plans for Nicole include continuing to serve in excellence in all capacities. She plans to continue to share a smile and be an example to everyone she meets, young and old. “I may have a pageant or two left in me to compete lol stay tuned.”
Nicole’s pageant platform is “I am enough, nothing lacking, nothing missing”. Meaning, you are beautifully and wonderfully made, everything that you need God has already placed inside of you, so hold your head up and walk confident in who and what you were called to do.
