Who is Meahgan Dickerson

Let me introduce to some and present to others Dr. Meahgan Dickerson. She is affectionately known as Dr. Meag! She is an amazing example of what you can do. Dr. Meag wears quite a few hats these days. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas and has owned a small practice family law firm in Houston since 2008. She has also been appointed as a parking judge for the City of Houston since 2017. Her most recent undertaking has been the acquisition of the Miss Plus America Pageant. Since August 2021, she has served as the National Executive Director of the Miss Plus America National Pageantry System.

As a business owner, she details the challenges that women in the corporate world face. Balancing the learning – curve associated with starting a business in a new field of expertise, and her day-to-day life as an entire pageantry queen as well. In March, Dr. Meag was crowned Ms. Plus Intercontinental 2022-2023 of the International Miss Plus World Pageantry System. She reigns with a platform of #BestLife: Human and Civil Rights, it’s for everyone. 

Yes, Dr. Meag prides herself on being a great attorney,  but fortunately, I have had the opportunity to get to know her beyond her many titles. She is a gifted musician and cook. For those who want to see her skills, you can search for her on FaceBook, Instagram, and TikTok. Dr. Meag has a huge heart for fur babies. She has a pet goat named Billy D. Kid and a 15-year-old, blind pug. He is the cutest thing!! He is blind, but he doesn’t know it or that he is old.  

Dr. Meag is a daddy’s girl with a huge heart for family, friends, and music. After years of knowing her, she shared her love of music with me. If you watch a few of her live messages on FaceBook, you can listen to her beautiful alto voice sing sweet melodies and play the piano. I was so struck by her talents when I first heard her, that I just stood and smiled with glee! Her beauty and heart showed as she connected with the words. 

Dr. Meag is a force in the pageantry community and has a plan to grow the Miss Plus America Pageant System and to change the way society views size and shape in men and women.
