Dr. Jennifer O. Jackson glows as we celebrate her recent President Joe Biden Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award

​ Jennifer Jackson is a true product of the Piney Woods of East Texas. She is affectionately known as “Dr. J.” She was born and raised in Longview, TX to amazing educators Wilbert and Earline Rollins. They followed the teachings of Nelson Mandela in that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

At a young age, Jennifer knew that she wanted to help keep the world well!! After attending Longview High School, she went on to graduate from Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Biology & Chemistry. Holding true to the childhood vision she embraced, Jennifer went on to attend Hampton University School of Pharmacy and earn her Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2008.

Dr. J currently lives and practices in Tyler, TX. Her impact is global. She serves her immediate community as a Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist for Wal-Mart, has served as an adjunct Texas College Professor and is a member of many service and social organizations, such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the Junior League of Tyler, TX, and Regent’s Guild She is the Founder/CEO of Triumvirate which houses The Tiffany’s Breakfast: A Women’s Bridging the Gap Project for the young and the young at heart. Where she donates scholarships yearly to college students.

Dr. J. travels globally to implement programs that will build/strengthen the family base and enjoys keeping others informed via writing or public speaking. She is the Editor and Chief of SitiGirl Houston Magazine and has partnered in 13 books with She Is the Ish Books. Last summer, Her book series was established under She Is The Ish Publishing named Be Her Now Global! Her first book called The Story of These Hips was released in April which gave 18 women an opportunity to share their beautiful journey’s to womanhood. The second book in the series will be released Fall 2023.

Dr. Jackson was crowned Ms. Texas American Elegance Woman 2015-16 and went on to win the National Crown/Title Ms. American Elegance Woman 2016. November 2016, she was titled International American Elegance Woman 2016-17, Mrs. All World Beauties 2018, AWB LifeTime, and went on to win the Ms. Plus Intercontinental 2019 – 2020 title to inspire women globally. Due to COVID, she was asked to serve for 2 years!

Dr. Jackson is the proud wife of Bishop Dr. Laramie Jackson, I , mother of the tenacious Laramie “LJ” Jackson, II and the oh-so beautiful Yasmine. She is a licensed Christian Counselor , and a licensed & ordained Minister. Together with her husband, they oversee the Temple Of Deliverance And Healing, International Worship Center.

As a recently nominated and Presidential Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award Recipient, she seeks to continue to make her global community well. Dr. Reba Perry – Ufele led the initiative to bring honor to US citizens who do phenomenal works in their communities. She applied for the opportunity to recognize silent community hero’s and gained the approval from the Whitehouse to do so in recognizing Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award Recipients. She helped to Egypt’s Free Bully World Foundation, LLC. with her 17 year old daughter Egypt Ufele, and has travelled across the US to bring light to many Community Hero’s. Dr. Jennifer O. Jackson has fulfilled more than 4,000 hours of community service which qualified her for this honor. President George H. Bush founded the Points of Light Foundation which created the idea of granting this award to recognize those who make a difference in their communities and around the world. She stands as one of those recognized volunteers and represents the beauty of service.
