Meet the Editor -In -Chief

Who Is Tenelle Marie?

I am a woman that not only wears many hats, my passion flows through these Twin city streets, trying help build solid foundation for youth and the community at large.

Tenelle Marie brings 25 years of experience working with child services and advocating in the community, assisting to build solid foundations for family. Tenelle Marie is the Program Director of UMOJA MN, her vision is to make the name known throughout Minnesota so that all parents fostering or adopting African American children will be able to connect their children to Black heritage, education, community, culture, and ethnicity. She is a mom of four beautiful girls and two kings (sons), and you will often hear her talk about her fur babies, Duke and King Louie!

I am so excited to open a new door to help women locally share their voice, to be able to have publication for authentic presentations for women from every walk of life. Siti Girl Twin Cites wants to provide a platform that is open to sharing how you are feeling, and what’s going on. We also want to keep you up to date on current events and local happenings.

Writing has always been a positive outlet for me, being able to share my feeling to let it all out. I have loved writing, poetry, doing spoken word, and becoming a published author, with She’s The Ish publications was the exact piece to ignite the burning flame to produce this awesome opportunity. Take this as your official invite for a journey with Siti Girls Twin Cities.
