Providing a Authentic Voice for Women in Twin Cites!

Royal International Queens

Some Queens in the Midwest

Lauren Hand, is the current Miss Royalty International Pre-Teen. I am 13 years old, she is on her middle school swim team. Her first pageant was in October 2018. Laura’s favorite category is evening gown because the dresses are gorgeous, and I love to feel elegant. I also love interviewing with the judges, too, because then they get to see her personality. Lauren’s pageant platform, is Together We Save, it is what motivates her when she is competing. Lauren’s passion is for rescue animals. She educates people on how they can help animal shelters and rescues save pets; her platform is “Together We Save.” Her family has 3 rescue dogs: two are from Texas and one was born in a puppy mill and then surrendered to a dog rescue. She is passionate about this topic because she feels that every animal should have a home and not be on the streets. The United States Humane Society estimates that there are approximately 70 million stray dogs and cats on the streets of the United States every day.

Krystle Igbo-Ogbonna is the reigning 2021-2022 Miss Royalty International Plus. A daughter, sister, friend, and community volunteer. She was born and raised in the Twin Cities but her family is originally from Nigeria. She attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts in 2011. In 2017, she also obtained her Master’s degree in Leadership in Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas. Krystle believes she found her voice in pageantry and will never forget at her first pageant a judge complimenting her on her public speaking. With a title that represents the plus-size community, Krystal is extremally proud to represent pageantry in much more size-inclusive system, but say there is still work to be done in this area. Making herself and her family proud is what motivates Krystle. She thankful for her mother who has worked hard to give her wonderful life experiences so she does her best to make her proud.
