Where are you from? Heaven of course but God decided to drop me off in Rochester, New York.
What are you passionate about? What’s the driving force behind it? I am passionate about having a soft life and mental health awareness. I had to be very tough growing up and I endure a lot. There came a point in my life where I couldn’t carry that weight of life and I broke mentally. I embraced a soft life to
heal and embrace my femininity.
What’s having a “Soft Life” Mean? The soft life is a life of ease, peace leisure and wellness. I discuss this in great detail on The Angelic Life Podcast streaming on YouTube and Spotify.
What’s your skill set? I’ve developed negotiation and disruptive strategy skills from corporate America.
What’s your purpose in life? My purpose in life is to give God glory and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
If you could choose any career in the world, would you still choose the career or talent you have? No! I never wanted to be in corporate America. I wanted to be an entertainer. I love singing, dancing, acting ..I love it all.
What would you tell your younger self? I actually have a podcast episode called “Dear Younger Me” check it out to find the answer. (LOL)
Knowing what you know now, would you change anything in your past? I would change a whole lot but I am come to accept what my life is today. All I can do now is continue to strive to please God and fulfill my purpose.
Who are your role models? I do not have any role models. I look to the Holy Bible for inspiration and guidance. Also, I never want to place a person on a pedestal that they never asked for.
What would you say to those that are starting out in your field? Anyone that wants to start out in entertainment or podcast I would say to go for it. Pursue your dreams as if you cannot fail.
What is your favorite quote? Explain? Pursue your dreams as if you cannot fail. I had a former coworker ask me “Angelica, if you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you be doing with your life?” At that moment I realized I was living in fear and I was not pursuing my passions. I knew I was stuck in the
wrong profession in the “survival” mindset.
If you were an animal, what would it be and why? I would choose to stay human.
What does entrepreneurship mean to you and why? Entrepreneurship means freedom to me.
I hear that you have added pageant queen to your roster, what system have you joined? I have joined the Miss Georgia USA system.
Is this your first pageant, and how does it feel to be competing? This would be my 2nd pageant and it feels like I have a 2nd chance to be Miss Universe.
What advice would you give a new queen starting her journey through pageantry? My advice is to give it your all and do your best. You got this!
